Hackberry Bowl

Finished this Hackberry bowl this weekend. It measures 8.5 by 4.5 inchs. Had to patch up a few worm holes.

Here is a spalted hackberry bowl I made several months ago. It measures 8 by 3 inches.

I like that finish. I bought a pack of native Florida wood blanks at the local Wood Craft and it had a couple of hackberry blanks. Hope mine come as nice looking as yours.

I really like that bowl. The wood color is fantastic to me. I have never seen wood like that. I may have to find some and make a pen from it. Great job.

Nice bowl. Worm holes add character. I like the color too.
