Camera phone pictures.

Made this for a buddy from some of the Teak I recently acquired. They were small pieces that were in the trash can because they were too small for anything else. I was lucky enough to be able to grab a few of the small pieces.

I finished the wood in Teak oil because I thought it would be a shame to apply any other finish on the wood. The wood is a lighter color that it appears in the photos - exposure on the camera phone could've been better.

Anyway, was excited to work with this and figured I'd share.

I love the Concava...many of my female customers order them However, what you did with it really looks nice and can suit all genders. Very nice!
I just ordered a bunch of black enamel (or black chrome....I know its black :-)) to make a more masculine or gender-neutral pen. Your selections is excellent!

Mighty Mo! What a job- and good fortune! I would keelhaul many a swab to get a piece of her.
I have a plank from the California, and just ordered blanks from the N. Carolina. Working on getting some of the Texas and the Constellation.

Great looking pen!

Fantastic pen and a outstanding way to remember such a great battle ship, thanks for preserving a piece of history.
