If you just stop by and don't log in, you are a "guest".

I suspect that is why that number is often so high.

My computer logs me in, automatically--Dawn does not. So she is often a "guest". Since she does not post often, it is not a problem--

Just a little insight to that number.

There are several lurker members as well. These are the folks that use the invis option so it does not disclose they are online. Not sure why though. Makes me wonder what or who they are hiding from.
