Sorry, just curious.

Hey Leroy, dont bad talk us poor ole redneck wannabe cowboys, them there cows ride pretty good. LOL I was raised up on a dairy farrm, and my older brother and I had a pet cow apiece and we would walk to the pasture for round up and ride back to the barn.

Exactly right on the weather thing today...20 mph might be a little low!! They do still host 1st Monday trade days and the World Famous Peach Festival is coming up on July 9th. I was born and raised here, so the weather isn't all that bad to me now.

Hmmmmm.....

LOL....I think I was referring to another function of cows for which they are also well known - especially Holstein Dairy Cows....If they move they S*** and it is wet and sloppy and frequently sprayed for a considerable distance from the cow.

Up til now I thought "Uncle" Walter Flowers from my home town was the only dairy farmer in the world who had to go get his cows to come to the barn. Now you've spoiled my illusion.

From 1940 to 1946 he paid one or the other of two of my brothers a dollar a week to go out every afternoon to round them up and bring his cows from the pasture to the barn for milking.

My son in law and daughter were born in Azle. Both Grad't from Azle HS. Wife from Poly HS. FT Worth.

I wasn't clear enough. I really 'miss' The FT Worth area, Not the weather, but am just pleased to live in the NW. Yesterday 80, sun.:) Today, rain, 56. :(.

WE had to move from Conroe, just South of Weatherford. We are Californians and cannot take the sub tropic weather. Changed shirts three to four times a day to stay dry.
The State is, however, wonderful. Lots of activity, men are taught to use manners, highways are great and I would NOT mess with Texas.
