GT Knurl - Walnut from Elwin

Elwin learned that I was looking from some nice walnut and he brought over (and gave me!) a nice block from a walnut crotch. I cut it up this afternoon and made this for an older gentleman as a gift. Thank you again Elwin.

Gunmetal finish, several thin and medium coats of Mercury CA. I applied the CA with craft foam which I have done many times before. However, I prefer paper towels (any brand). I find it easier to eliminate ridges. Dy sand 400 to 2000, then buffing wheels.
