Group Purchase Research will consist of posted questions and polls intended to assess the interest in, opinions about, or willingness of other members to participate in a Group Buy. This will enable members who have a great product or idea they would like to pursue as a Group Buy, to ascertain the feasibility of the Group Buy being successful. Once it has been established that there is enough willingness to participate, the thread will be closed and a new post will be made in the Group Buy forum.

Sorry, no vendors selling their products or gauging intrest in a product will be allowed. Vendors should use the Vendor Forums or the Market Research forum.

Group Purchase Research questions might include:

 • "If we made a great deal on X for $Y, would you buy it?"
 • "How many X would you buy"
 • "Which of these styles or colors do you prefer to buy?"
 • I have found a vendor that will sell/produce a new widget for us for $X if we order a minimum of y widgets. Anyone interested?
Rules:

 • There is no limit on the number of post you can make, provided you follow up on the Buy.
 • Poll results may be hidden, but must be set to reveal when the poll closes
 • Group Buy research threads are subject to closure after 30 days if productive input is essentially concluded
Notes:

There may be some unavoidable advertising when conducting the research, especially if a vendor indicates they can sell us the same or similar item for less. The vendor would be allowed one post indicating this. If in the opinion of the moderators you are trying to sneak an ad in disguised as research, it will be deleted.

It should go without saying that the IAP Terms Of Service
and Acceptable Use Policy be followed at all times .
