I am stoked, I finally got my Band Saw. I got a 1hp Craftsman 12", for $75. It has a stand, the deck has the surface rust. The guy also threw in 3 additional blades. I love you craigslist!

Good score now there is a book on how to set up your band saw (I forget the author Ill look when I get home.) Lots of great info in that book on maximizing the accuracy of your saw.

It's called "The Bandsaw Book". Just search for it on amazon. Lots of great info.

Hey ED!! I guess it did'nt work.I unlatched your tailgate when you were here and I thought when you left the gate would fall and I would have a bandsaw sitting in the middle of my driveway.LOL Thanks for stopping by Buddy!!

Yeah I noticed that, and the matress sitting behind my truck. I got it home and had to try it out, got the blank I got from you Jim, prepped. It has an old style guide, but no slide, which I should be able to pick up. Very happy with it. I just wish I could have gotten that Rikon Belt/Disc sander from craigslist. The guy was charging 70 bucks for it, and it was in great shape (by the picture)
