My 9 year old Grandson Daltons first pen. We were talking one afternoon about different kinds of wood and I told him he could made a beautiful pen from the ugliest piece of wood he could find. We went to the burn pile where he chose a dead apple branch this is the result. Turned and finished by him to his own specifications. He's very proud of it and asked that I place it here for him. Thanks for looking.

Tell Dalton he did good,I like the shape! I'm sure he had a good teacher! You might as well start looking for another lathe. [:D]
