My 12 year old granddaughter wanted to make a pen! We had a blast and she did a great job. She did ALL the work with my guidance! Looking forward to making more with her - princess with turquoise TruStone!

Great job, Keith. She made a beautiful pen. Proud to see the younger generations in the shop. I noticed you have another turner in the wings watching with great interest.

So I thought I would try the click and drag. But this is how I think the kids feel when they finish a pen. Especially a pen as pretty as the one she made. Great job Grandpa.

Great job for her and guidance from you.
One suggestion: if the kids are going to turn, consider making a platform so they're standing higher up.
The forearm should be about parallel to the toolrest for spindle turnings.
