Golf green tool????

I have noticed in Woodturningz newest magazine that they offered a greens repair tool for the golfer/woodturner. It looks nice but i am looking for a tool that has a removable ball marker that can be turned from wood. Has anyone seen one of these advertised anywhere else?:biggrin:

I haven't seen anything like that. You could get a normal divot repair tool with the ball mark in it. Turn a piece of wood to fit it, and glue a piece of metal underneath. Would work just as good.

Well, in the CSUSA catalog they have one that has a removable ball marker. It comes in chrome and 10k gold. But when I went to the website to pull you a link it won't come up.

The part# for chrome is 050-7004, for 10k gold it's 050-7003 The mandrel is part# 155-0003. You might want to give them a call and see if they still have them. If you have the Woodturners catalog 2011/2012, fall/winter catalog it's at the bottom right of page 100.

Think CUSA may have discontinued the item. I went looking today for some kits and none to find. Least cusa's style. Only other I've seen is PSI and the 'marker' is non removable.

why don't you buy one kit and make it a removeable marker by insetting a earth magnet in the bottom of the wood disc?
