This is not one of my better pens, I over turned the nib end a bit and I'm not happy about that.:frown: The blank is by Fred (Ptownsubbie). Evelyn picked out both the blank and kit and I paired them up. I did not back paint on this one and I think I like the brass showing through. All C & C are welcome.

I am not seeing that which you don't like. I think the pen looks great.
You tell Evelyn to keep picking the items and you keep turning them.
The two of you make great combos.

Nice work ! I like the colors. Slimlines are tricky. The bit of brass showng through matches the gold hardware ... I like it !!

I agree with you on the brass showing through on that blank . The solution to the over turned nib end is to dis-assemble the barrel and grind a bit off that end . The taper you have upon the barrel should allow an exact match to be made . Some trial and error assembly/dis-assembly may be required . At re-assembly , the transmission needs to be farther out by the amount removed to allow the same nib extension .

Dan, you should call this one "Green Slime" as the title suggests!

The brass does go well with the color and hardware and gives it some depth and shimmer!

Go Evelyn! My Wifey pairs up blanks and Componets for me too!
