Gold or Silver? That my friends is the burning question.
For quite some time now I have found myself going against
my natural design instincts and opt for a silver kit with
a blank that almost screams " Gold Kit Please". Yet
after closer inspection I find that the gold almost flattens
the look and the contrast of the silver makes it POP, the grain
the golden color of the wood.

Well just wondered what you'll thought about this subject?
like this one I just did this weekend, with a blank from this
website. Cheers.

Donald,
That's been a question here for a long time. I go by the seat of my pants as far as kit platings and colors. As much as I like Rhodium and silver, some kits just scream, gold please.
This question will be asked by many more and most likely always have a wide variety of answerers.

Neodon,
Just to play devils advocate.....
the gold kit you're using....is it the "upgrade gold" or the higher end gold, or gold Titanium? I find that with some woods, for some reason the lower grade gold does flatten the appearance of the wood...but the gold titanium makes it "pop".
just curious.
