Gold fill on lasered initials

A client requested gold initials on a pen, so I did a fill on lasered initials ford the first time. I did just one pass layer of CA finish before lasering, then filled with Gold Lacquer-Stik Paintstick by rubbing it in and wiping off excess, then completed the CA finish which filled in the initials to level and protected them.

The emerald green was also a special request, so I dyed curly maple with alcohol ink after turning.

Looks great! Sometimes I wish I had a good way to do inlays on pens... I can think of all sorts of fun ideas to try.
