going to try my luck with inlays

to keep from loosing a bunch of good pen blanks i am using 3/4" oak dowel and drilling then rough tuning. after I cut out a few I will play with the laser kerf. to get a good fit of the inlay. this was cut in 10W mode with my Lasermatic WX. i will also use my fiber laser to cut and inlay some brass or copper.

Very Cool - I really need to work on my laser skills and see if I can make some inlays. There have been a few recent posts from other members that have really been peaking my interest. - Dave

I'm doing a lot of experimenting in this area too. It's a lot of fun.
