God quenching thirst???

A number of people took pics of this water, heading to heaven!! Happened yesterday afternoon---Lake Michigan.

Ahh yes a water spout. Saw some of these in Bimini when I went to play with the wild dolphins for a week offshore.

They are most impressive indeed, just don't get close to one.

I have seen them out iin the Gulf while working in Key West, they are amazing to watch. Those look much closer than the ones I was watching.

Saw that on TV...they said two water spouts joined then separated again..

I saw one on Erie once. I will never forget it. Really cool to watch.

Seriously though, I wouldn't like to be under one of those, not that I'm afraid of heights, just that it would hurt damn too much coming down...!:frown:

I've seen a lot of real small ones on small lakes and ponds - the kind that go up maybe 15 feet, last 2 minutes and disappear but I have only seen one real one, that one over the ocean when I was in the Navy.

I'm still just in awe by that. I've heard of them, but the ones that big always seem to be in tropical locations. Wild that we had it over lake michigan. Its been a really weird year for wind and storms here.
