Gnome evolution

So I have continued playing with gnome forms and this past Thursday we made gnomes in the youth class I am teaching. The kids made a gnome from a single piece of wood for the sake of time allowed.

The picture I have of the single wood gnome (wormy hickory with a mahogany nose) was one of the example pieces the kids built from. The bottle stopper one is macassar ebony and black walnut.

Yeah, the bottle stopper one took more time than anticipated being smaller and requiring more precision. It was fun to make though.
