I just picked this up today:

Nearly new Grizzly 2HP dust collector, hoses, 2 6" gates, 2 4" gates, 35-Gallon trash can with "cyclone" filter cap, all for $175.

Next step, replace the 35 micron bag-filters with a .5 micron pleated filter from http://www.wynnenv.com/35A_series_cartridge_kit.htm.

Yay, clean shop on the way!!

Way to go Greg. You'll love it. Best investment I ever made. Now you'll want to invest in a remote. Second best thing I ever did.
Now you get to install it.[:D][:D][:D]

It is already sitting in place and the 4" lines are run to/from the pre-filter. I just need to figure out how to go from there to the 6" input on the DC itself. And buy/make connectors for my saws/lathe/planer/.../... [:D]

Oh, and run the 220v circuit to power it. [B)]

Fun for tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have it up and running by the time we have the Bubbasville BayArea Northern California next weekend.

I used PVC for all of my runs. I found a PVC fitting that allowed me to adapt, it's a 6" to 4" adapter. Worked perfect. Found it at my local plumbing supply.
