I'm an occasional pen turner. I kept the first two that I made, the rest I give away. People seem awfully impressed (if they only knew) that I made one, and gave it to them. I haven't had problems that other report with the slim lines, but maybe I should start working with other models just in case.

Welcome! Occasional is not a bad thing - but be aware, it is kind of addicting after a bit! There are lots of kits of different styles and sizes out there to try, never mind the possibilities for the blanks. Just have fun!

Hi. My name is Trisha and I own NicheBox-Rocks - Metals for Inlay.
I sell copper shot for wood Inlay and other craft projects.
My copper shot doesn't oxidize because the copper comes from electric motors.
Copper wire windings in electric motors don't oxidize because they are coated with a very thin but highly durable layer of electrical insulation, typically an enamel. This coating serves as a protective barrier that prevents the copper from reacting with oxygen and
moisture in the air.
So it will show up shiny even after you Inlay it into your wood using CA glue before you cover it with any epoxy resin.
