Gift on Labor Day

I was gifted this today...
Going to take a while to cut it up. Black Walnut that has been sitting here a few years.
It is HARD! Went through 3 Blades with 3 big long cuts.
Pic's of the ones in the truck bed is what I took home today.

I need to sharpen some blades/chains. LOL Then attempt to cut them up into some blanks. It's already dry (at least it seems to be). So, I'll mount a bowl for sure.

the root should yield some stunning* burr but will almost certainly cost you a few chain sharpening sessions !
