Hi,

Well I'm back at it, turned this one today. The wood was a really nice blank, but I had some problems with chipping and cracks, lot's of CA glue on this one.

:)

Had the heat on in the shop, 7 hours of pen turning, still pretty cold here!

With a pen like that Jim, you'd better bring the lathe in to the house! It'll help pay for the heat.[;)] Beautiful pen, really nice blank.

I've got a couple of BB's stabilized burls sitting in my box of "special pieces." One of these days, I think one of them is going to become a Gent or a Baron. Now I've got to make up my mind...or buy a few more blanks... [;)]

Hi Bill,

You have a few blanks from Bill and they are not turned yet??[:)]

You better get on the phone and order more, there is no way you can just turn ONE and not want to turn 10 of them, the BEB's are my favorite! I easily have 100 in my stash right now!![:D]
