Made a wife for the local mayor (my wife 
). She's down to her last meeting before retiring, so it won't see much wear. The wood is some Wild Black Cherry that went down last fall. The wood isn't perfect and I didn't try to avoid the cracks in it, as... well... you know... that's how the light gets in. The finish is a couple of coats of BLO, then some BLO/Beeswax mix.
