Any tricks on quieting down a pencil kit? I put together a nice Gatsby pencil and it rattles. Took it apart and reassembled to no avail.

I can't think of a way that any pencil that we've made 'rattles' other than extra lead knocking around.
That's the first thing that came to my mind also. They typically come with several extra pieces of lead in them.

Thanks for reading & replying to my post. The pencil is a Gatsby style from Woodturningz. I thought it was the lead too but its the click cap. The cap that goes over the eraser. If you shake it a little bit when using it "rattles", it's annoying. Had a customer who liked the set but after handling the pencil changed their mind. I was thinking of a way of quieting it up and posted for any ideas.
