This is a Gatsby pen in gold/gunmetal. The blank is an unknown I had, I can't remember where I got it nor what it's called. So I'm calling it Pastel, for obvious reasons. Not my style, but a pretty pen nonetheless.

Very nice...you are a pen turning machine! I noticed you make Gatsbys. Have you ever tried the Gatsby Grande? They a little fatter, and have a much thicker wall (more forgiving for semi-opaque blanks). Bushings and drill size (3/8ths) are different that the regular Gatsby.

Oh yes, I've turned quite a few Gatsby Grandes. I really like them.

I should have known :) . I am not a Gatsby guy, but I do like the Grande version.
I like both, but you do have to be careful with the Gatsby and translucent blanks. The body is pretty thin. I did back paint this one, but don't know that it was necessary. This blank seems to be fairly opaque.
