Gatsby Blue Ripples

This is a Gatsby in chrome and gunmetal. The blank is an AA called Blue Ripples. Normally, I turn pens like this with a bulge in the middle. Just for fun, I turned this one straight. I think I prefer the bulge.

The top is the straight body. The bottom is a bulged body.

I also like the subtle bulge, use that on most of my pens.

To my eye, the bulge looks better. It's how I turn mine as well.

I think they look good both ways. I've not turned a gatsby as of yet.

I like the Gatsby pens. They're very forgiving.
