I don't think I've ever asked a question here without ANY response. I'm bumping this to the front again as it must of been missed. Surely SOMEONE has this machine. If not, I guess that might be my answer.

I didn't see your post yesterday..... I purchased this model about 6 months ago. I don't have anything to compare it to but I have no complaints!

I have 6" PVC piping routed along my walls and run 6" all the way to the machines. At the machines I go from 6" to 4" machine suctions.

I don't think you can beat the price!
 
I have a 16x24 workspace and it has a divided wall about 4' into it.

I am not certain that my input will be good on this one because the collector is on the other side of that wall. It is fairly loud (I think most are) if you are in the same room with it. But, you have to remember, it is moving a bunch of air.....

I don't use hearing protection when I have it on. I also have a TV in my shop. When I turn on the collector, I can't hear the TV when at normal volume. I can turn it up and still hear it but I normally don't.

Not sure how much that helps.....Sorry.
 
It is listed at 74 db, kinda high but not horrible. I thought of building a partial "box" around it to muffle the sound. I don't want to put it in a seperate room as in the winter it would kill me to keep the heat running constantly to make up for cycling the warm air out of the room. This is the kind of input I am seeking, please keep it coming if others also have experience with it. Thanks,
