This was my first attempt at this wood, and I must say it turns so easily. Sanded to 12000 and finished with 3 coats of shellawax. I love working with it, and it smells great. This is also the first time ive used this kit. Its a magnetic Vertex rollerball that assembled nice.

Sorry about the bad pics, im just camera illiterate. Ive been trying to get my skills better on turning and picture taking. Ive seen the treads with simple boxes for pic taking, looked easy enough, so I tried to make one. I set for over an hour taking pics and this is the best I could come up with. Then again, it could be my camera.? Anyhow here they are.

Being very new to turning, any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

I like the looks of this pen. I've tried a regular Vertex but not one of these. I'll have to check the kits out while at Woodcraft this weekend for the big sale.
