I picked up a bunch of cheap/free vendor promo pens at a recent conference, and thought I'd strip it down and add some wood. The wood is oak, from an old highway survey stake. It's a little overturned at the nib end, but the plastic tip isn't perfectly round either. It still has cheap plastic guts and cheap pen refill, but it made for a quick fun project that won't hurt my feelings if it's lost.
