Apparently the first friday in November is Fountain Pen Day ( so I was informed on the UK penturners forum )
We were asked to post a photograph of a fountain pen that we had made. Here's mine ( an old photo )

It's a while since I made this pen, Kevin, bit I believe that it is a Mallee ( type of Eucalyptus ) from Australia.
