I wouldn't normally participate in this type of thread, but felt I needed to add my 2 cents for the Wood Turners Catalog people. My son gave me a Woodcut Bowl Coring system for Christmas... on the third use of it, I broke the transfer plate that holds the handle and cutters. It's only a cast alloy pot type metal, and evidently not too strong... I expected to buy a new plate, but Angie at WoodTurners Catalog said they didn't stock the parts and if I would return the broken tool they would replace it with a whole new tool.
