Been studying hard and I took the test tonight for my Amateur Extra class License tonight. I'm happy to say I got 46 out of 50 correct so I've earned the top class.

Spent 6 months in Radio School for the Navy... don't remember the speed we had to pass, but remember hitting 16 wpm and struggling for a bit, then got to 22 wpm and I think I stopped there... it was an awkward rhythm and I really struggled with it... finally passed in time to graduate to the fleet... fortunately (or unfortunately) once in the fleet I used Telex more than Morse..... Never picked up the speed key... it sounded like a teletype signal to me.
