Want to take a moment to thank everyone that helped getting my wireless router hooked up. I went with a Linksys E2500 and it was very painless. They have the install process setup so if you follow the instruction there's not much that can go wrong.
I said not much because I had 1 "small" problem that gave me fits for several days. Couldn't get my ipad to connect via the main address. Had to use the guest account. Lucky for me my grandson was over Christmas eve and he got me squared away. I had transposed a chararcter in the password, damn old eyes!
Everything is good now, all I have to do is figure out the ipad. Better figure it out soon, my expert goes back to college next week.
Again, thank you everyone for your suggestions, advice, and help getting this old man through this project.
