Ok, since this bachelor life is kind of new "again" , what can I use to get ground in dirt out of vinyl flooring?

A housekeeper? :biggrin:

I use "Simple Green" concentrate for all sorts of things like that. If that doesn't work, I get out the mineral spirits.

Doesn't matter WHAT you use.

If it works, you're happy.

If it doesn't work, no one will harp on you about why it was a lousy idea and it was never GONNA work.

clean floors

go to a doller store and get a jug of ausome cleaner kinda yellowish in color mix it 50 -50 and scrub

And in my case it would probably be around much longer.

Thom, try a little miriatic acid then ammonia, allow to dry and then use some bleach. It will not only remove the "dirt" but will destroy almost all traces of the "dirts" DNA.
