Flat board turning

What is the degrees to cut for a flat board to turn into a stacked bowl along with a good width of each piece.i have a midi lathe.

Start with a search for Ring Master Cutting Angle. There is some trig function in the calculation based on the width of the cut and thickness of material.

I have looked into Ring master set up. That is not what I'm looking for. A few yrs back an article came out about cutting flat boards into half circles using your band sae and then gluing them back together. This is the information I am looking for. Thank you
