Fix chip

Never fails… poor packing. Small chip on cane palm rest. It's contoured for a purpose. I can grind the chip out .. sand and refinish. Prefer to fill/finish and keep the same contour. What material would be used that can also be finished to blend in.
EDIT... I found the chip... That helps big time.

Difficult to get a filling blend in . Might consider cutting the remaining part off along the grain line , gluing a close matching piece on , then redo to the original contour . More work , and perhaps provides an opportunity for something else to go wrong .

Was due to poor packaging ....but the person offered to take back and replace. I will keep and use my never ending repair talents
