First Sierra

Cocobolo blank again from Rob. First Sierra I've done, I think I have a new favorite style, especially with the multitude of finishes available.

Youve done a great job.[^] Again the background is not totally appropriate.

That cocobolo looks really good! Try a more subdued background, it will make the pen stand out much more. Also, either you moved when taking the picture, or the camera was focusing on the rather busy background rather than the pen. I always use a tripod, and found that a fairly light, neutral gray cloth works best to emphasize the pen in the picture. There is a photograph forum here on the site which can be very helpful for improving your pictures.

I am a big fan of the Sierra and Sierra Vista, a slightly more rotund version.

Great pen! Good selection of timber and kit, but a bit more practice with the camera will help show off your fine work even more.

Not too sure about that shape maybe its the photo thats giving it the over size look.
