Got my magic skew. from T Shadow this morning. Pictures attached are my first results. This tool works great and I am very pleased with my purchase. For me, there was virtually no learning curve as I've been using my carbide tools as shear cutters and not scrappers for quite awhile. Cutters are a little bigger than I'm used to but I have to say I think they work better than what I've been using. I will be ordering another one in the very near future so I don't have to switch between the round and square cutter.

Great job! I've been thinking about getting one of the Magic Skews and with a lot of other things going on I just haven't pulled the plug yet. Your comment re the size of the cutter is well taken. Thanks for posting.

Beautiful pen! Isn't getting a new tool great!
BTW, you are shear scraping not shear cutting. The 'shear' is accomplished by twisting the tool at an angle. It can be done with carbide and HSS scrapers.
