Where do you get Corian stock big enough for pens? All I can get round here is just under half inch thick...

Glue!!!
You can either try to match (hide) the glue-line, or accetuate the glue-line (with inlays, pick-guard, laminates, metal inlays, etc...).
Me..., I stink at corian gluelines for matching, so I prefer to accentuate the division. This does make it obvious, but also matching...

Thanks for all the great comments. Skie M I found a source of mostly 1/2" which works great for .slimlines for the others Mark is right on the money.

I glue 2 pieces together to make it thicker. You do this and you can't see the seam lines or use contrasting materials for a different look.

Great job, I especially like how close you got the finished blank size to match the kit pieces... attention to detail always shows in the finished product.

I have seen 3/4 Corian and hard surface material on flea-bay and Craigslist many times. In fact that's where I found a local guy who sold me enough to last me a while. Nice stuff and he dabbles in turning so its already cut to pen blanks.
