First Pen in Two Years

Here is the first pen that I have turned in probably more than two years. It is a Blade pen, in gunmetal, with a custom orange honeycomb blank. The blank was made by Mark at HobbleCreekCraftsman (Etsy). Not a perfect pen, but really close. Since this is an EDC pen I chose to just finish it with plastic polish and not worry about micro mesh or buffing, still need to look real close to find scratches.

I don't know about 'fantastic', but thank you. I just happened to have the pen on me while we were doing our association's hive inspections, so I figured I would snap a couple pics when we finished.

I am not currently a beekeeper, I get my bees in the spring, these were taken at our local club's apiary.

I have never been a photographer, need to get my wife or son to take some pics of my pens for me.

I took these with my phone, because I was too lazy to walk back to my truck to grab my DSLR. I love photography, but never take the time to 'present' my projects, just snap simple photos and that's about it. Someday I will build a little light box for staging pens and such, but that is pretty far down on my to-do list.
