Eight months ago, I left a job I knew inside and out and had been doing for 13 years. I became a clinical transplant coordinator and have been spending many extra hours learning the lung transplant process and developing policies, protocols and patient education to get to this point. We have completed our first lung transplant at our program in Grand Rapids and it was better than we could have even hoped for.

Eric, you have to be an extremely gifted person to do your job. You have my sincere admiration!

Congratulations on any and all successes!

Your job is truly "life-changing"---very few of us can say that.

Congrats Eric! That takes a lot of work.

As you know, my brother has had heart and kidney transplants and his son had a heart transplant (bad genes).

Thanks from my family!

Dave
