The blank came from Brooks803's big "oops" box. The canterband is from the small corian blanks Reddwill had. I like it!

Very nice. I wish that you would paint the tubes to prevent the light color that is showing though. The center band is an improvement over the wasp waist that comes with the slimline.

Yeah, painting tubes would help my cause. I'm still leery of causing fit issues because I'm not so good with paint. This one had to be glued back together after a slab sheared off the side when the drill press touched it. I honestly expected failure and was ready to go with the spare blank. I was VERY happy it worked out.

Great Job. That Corian can really come in handy some times.

Nice pens. I cut my teeth on corian pens. I found that if youir dead center, you can use the larger band," like the one on the comfert kit. I picked up 4 pic. last week. True Red, Black, White, and yellow. All without flecks. I plan on making a checkered flag pen

Thanks for the feedback. I plan on trying with the other blank I have from the same casting and maybe making a centerband that pops a little harder on it. I'm not sure what color would suffice except maybe white.
