First Churchill - Asian Redwood

This is my first attempt at a Churchill. I should have trimed the blank down before drilling to get more of the 2 tone effect. As it happened I turned most of the sapwood away.

Marc, it has a CA finish. I used Mylands sanding sealer first b/c of some open grain in the piece of wood. The CA came out with almost a matte finish.
