First Casts

I made these blanks at a demo on casting for my woodturning club last week. The blanks came out great. On the left is a cholla cactus in Alumilite Clear colored with Caster's Choice Emerald Green and Brilliant Blue. On the Right, the same formula with a Big Leaf Maple Burl. The second photo shows the completed pens - a Chrome and Upgrade Gold Ultra Cigar with the Cholla and a Jr. Harold in TiGold with the BLM burl. Sorry about the quality of the photos, still waiting for my new photo tent set up.

John, those two pens and blanks, don't look to shabby at all. Actually, they are very nice looking, I love the pens, green is my favorite colour.
