Here's my first attempt at hand shaping/sculpting. I am not happy with the end result as far as dimensionally, but the overall effect is pretty cool. This was a little more labor intensive than I originally expected. I don't know why I expected less work, I just did. I present to you... a Twisted Goblet!!

Maybe was using blathe - Which means to bluff.

Very nice I do not have the patience for that kind of work, but I can certainly admire it.

I think you did an excellent job. Personally, I would be proud of that one. Especially for a first go at it.

Yes, I did. I used masking tape to mark out the twist, then traced with pencil. I removed the tape, and began the shaping process. I used a dremel, rasp, file, and sand paper. The actual twist took about 2 hours of constant work. I think I will try to incorporate this into some other areas of work as well.
