Fire!

Yesterday afternoon the shop that houses www.turningblanks.net caught fire. The shop, machines and most of the storage was a total loss. Mike and Brad are great guys. They have made it their business to get low cost blanks to wood turners like us. And their shop is about 10 miles away from me. I am sure prayers would be appreciated. Also, if you have an order with them, I am sure they would appreciate some patience.

Bummers. On a bright note smoke does some funky things to some woods. If they can salvage stuff might be worth looking into.

i've been ordering blanks from them almost monthly for the past couple years. great guys, always threw in a little extra something into my packages. best of luck to them on getting back on their feet.
