I just turned one of my superbowl winnings  It is a piece of zircote. I wiped the blank with acetone and it removed a lot of residue, sprayed it with accelerator and finished it with CA. Am I going to have a problem with the finish clouding? I haven't put it together yet just in case. Zircote may become my new favorite wood. Classy looking stuff.

I agree, zircote is a very nice wood.

Why would you be concerned with a cloudy finish? All the ones I've finished with medium CA/accelerator haven't gotten cloudy.

Ah, I understand now ....

Looks like you took the appropriate step to avoid the finishing problem with the wipe-down of acetone, hope you waited for it to evaporate before starting the finish.
