I think I've read this somewhere before but I can't find it. How do you finish worthless wood blanks. Part wood, part PR. I normally dry sand and use a CA finish on wood, while on PR I wet micro sand and plastic polish.
Water would not be good on the wood and CA and water don't mix too well.

How do the experts do this?

TIA
Carl

If you are referring to worthless wood type blanks, then using a CA finish is a must. Personally, I dry sand since I do not want water on the wood.

FYI, Mutt blanks are a brand of worthless wood type blanks produced by ElMostro and they contain wood with Alumilite rather than PR.
