never used it. Reasons why? Looks messy, time consuming to cure, difficult to get smooth even coating. I may be wrong, but that's my impression when looking at this stuff, so I've stayed away. Perhaps someone has actually used the material and will be able to offer better review for you.

I haven't used their solution but I have done dipping. In the past few years, there have been several or even many that have dipped their pens to finish them. There are several techniques involved also. Do a search for "dipping" and you should find some great tips.

Dipping was done by people who did not like CA, had allergies to CA or other. It is not as fast as a CA finish but if several turned blanks are done at the same time, the average finishing time per blank is not too much different than with CA.

Dipping finishes that has been used in the past has been primarily lacquer and a home made liquid acrylic made from acetone and dissolved plexiglass. PSI's finish should work great too.
 
Thanks for the feedback. I was beginning to get the feeling it was taboo to suggest it on this board.

I have issues with CA finishing and I am looking for an alternative. At least for my low to medium priced pens.

I figure in the big picture it will be faster a finishing process because I do not count the drying time. I can be doing other things while the pens dry.

I'll post my result shortly.
