Finishing Poly

I've been experimenting with poly and was wondering how you guys finish it after the poly has been applied? My normal routine with CA is to let it cure for a day then wet sand to 12000 and apply my polishes. Just wandering if poly is the same? I also realize that poly takes quite a while to fully cure.

Ernie, is it wipe on poly or the brush on thicker stuff? The guys in OZ use like 20 coats let it sit and then use brasso, but I think any good plastic polish would do after after a week or so, we use 4 coats of WOP on the tool handles and it's sand-able the next day.

Well I have both, but the current project is WOP. Do you wet sand or dry sand?
