Here is a finial box I made out of cherry and inlaid it with maple. These are fun boxes to make.

Well done, Bernie! That is beautiful! The only thing that concerns me is the size of the Maple foot. It doesn't really look large enough to be stable. Or is it an optical illusion sort of thing?
