I was rooting around in some of my pen stuff today, and ran across this. It's a pen body I turned back in 2015 for a Federal pen. I must have been going through some kidney problems at the time, and never finished it. It's from a big chunk of walnut my dad gave to me before he died. I remember I was making the pen for my step-mother. Fortunately, I still had the kit and I assembled it today. I'll mail the pen to my step-mother. I love the visual interest in the Federal pens.

Thanks Herb, it's good to be back. Been a crazy couple of years taking care of my mother, among other things. But I had to make a wedding pen for my son's wedding in December, and that's gotten me back into turning pens again.
